Typical American: The Hands

Artificial intelligence has come a long way in a very short time, but there is still one area it struggles with on a regular basis – depicting human hands. This selection of images from over 2,500 generations illustrates common mistakes it makes when attempting to create accurate hands. These hands are sometimes deformed, fused together, not attached to an arm, coming out of illogical places, and occasionally including a third hand for a single subject.
