Flyers for Freedom, 2008

The DNC invaded Denver in 2008 and brought with it a new era of surveillance and security. At the time I had to pass directly through the epicenter of this event daily to get to and from my job a few blocks away. The journey, usually a lonely stroll through moderately busy streets became a chaotic affair with people, flags, protest signs, and military assault rifles as far as the eye could see. This in-camera panorama combined a patriotic flyer distributer with the surrounding scene.
