The Oil Baron, 2020

During the pandemic lockdown, I was forced to make work indoors for several months, like many I was also fixated on news. The resulting work is political by nature, without being overtly so. In this image, an oil baron stands with his back turned to barrels of crude, wearing his suit of gold with diamond buttons.
